Exponential 6.0.x
Exponential 6.0.10 is the current stable release. There are no known issues preventing general use and web development with the system at any time.
- Up next in the next quarter. In 2025/(Q3/Q4): Stabilization development; Bugfixes for newly discovered PHP 8 warnings.
- Up next in the next quarter. In 2025/(Q3/Q4): Default Installation Design Improvements. IE: Add additional templates to match available content classes.
- Under heavy consideration: Smarty Template Language Support in Kernel of 6.0.x
- Under consideration: Documentation consolidation to preserve GNU licensed documentation from the past. IE: Sections/Pages/Text/Images/etc.
- Under consideration: YouTube video guides.
- Up next in the next quarter. In 2025/(Q3/Q4): Partner Portal Development. Providing a place for partners to collaborate with Exponential and Gain Key Insights.

Exponential Platform Legacy 2.5.0.1 is the current stable release. There are no known issues preventing general use and web development with the system at any time.

- Redesign Exponential 6.0 Documentation Portal
Extend Documentation Portal Content to more clearly cover key Exponential Platform Documentation more directly and clearly. IE: New section within core site layout.
7x would like to point out that today our Exponential documentation is scattered individual html pages (collections) and we would very much like to import this static content into a CMS like Exponential or Ibexa OSS + Netgen Layouts to make the documentation site more dynamic, allow for user commenting and simpler maintenance and administration going forward. We are in the planning stages on this project effort and would love to collaborate with the community members who share an interest in the goals of the Exponential Documentation Project - Documentation Re-imagination within a CMS (Import / Re-design).

eZpedia

- eZpedia is the free eZ Publish Documentation Wiki that anyone can Edit! We document key details of the CMSs for others to benefit.
- eZpedia content creation is freely open to the general public! Anyone can edit eZpedia! Login and start writing!
- eZpedia is stable and hosted by 7x. Primary content creation is governed by the eZpedia Board which currently only Graham Brookins remains.
- Under consideration: Expanded content for both Exponential Platform and Exponential 6 (Legacy). Help grow available pages content to be more mature and helpful.
- Under heavy consideration: Shared user authentication with Share/Projects/Exponential.

- Extend Share Exponential! Portal Features and Content. IE: Share a site (user submitted website preview announcement references).
- Expand user features and paths to support greater engagement with more content interactions (gameification).
Composer Packages
If your like 7x you realize that not enough of our extension repositories have corresponding composer package files within and configured packagist.org extension package submissions.
In short! We need more help creating the required composer package files for more of the most popular extensions that users desire to install via composer with ease. We are seeking volunteers from the community to help with this initiative.
Exponential Site Installation Packages
If your like 7x Team you may realize that their is not nearly enough of documentation and supported channels to publishing and distribution of Exponential Site Installation Packages like 7x Simple our current primary site installation package which configures your siteaccess settings (ini files configuration, writes to disk), package content tree content installation, package content extensions installation and completes a new installation configuration via the Setup Wizard.
We have a number of site installation packages supported by default from past releases but 7x wants to open up the Setup Wizard Site Package Listing to the Community to allow for established users to submit their own custom site packages for everyone to be able to download and install thus allowing for a supported path towards community based new installation distributions (configurations of custom unique solutions within Exponential; Choices).
In short! We need more help creating the required exponential site package files required to support more unique flavors of solutions within this level of configuration of Exponential that we believe users truly deep down do desire to install via Setup Wizard with ease.
