It would be nice if the documentation had a field to note which version of ezpublish that doco is referring to.

New documentation generally refers to either 3.1 or 3.2 while previous documents speak about 3.0.

With 3.3 now being planned for it would be nice to have some means to separate the versions. This would also help writers as not everyone tests on multiple versions of ez - they usually write about the version they are using.

I agree, we've usually included this on the newer version but there is a lot of old documentation which only work on specific release.

I would also like to have a way to mark a block in the documentation as being for a specific version, that way when the doc is exported you only get doc for one version.

But for now the notice will work quite well.

This would also really help when searching for specific answers. It would be great if we had the ability to narrow searches to all forums and/or documentation for specific products. Versions could include 'All 3.x', '3.2', '3.1', '3.x Forums', '3.1 Documentation', '3.2 Documentation'...

The block method would be very useful in identifying missing doco that is present for other versions.

A good one for the future ;)
