I'm brand new to EZPublish and although I've searched, I can't find any FAQ that describes the process of setting up structure and defines what the various types are.

So...why in the sample Corporate site are some of the homepage buttons Folders whilst some are a 'Frontpage' content type? Whats the different?

Can anyone point me in a logical direction?

Thanks!

Hi Ash,

You could start off by reading this: http://ez.no/developer/articles/the_ez_content_model

But basically you have content objects that are made using content classes as "templates". These templates are defined using attributes (such as text block, integer, line of text, etc.).

These settings are found in the administration interface: Setup -> Classes

Hope this helps,

Thanks mate, will give that a good read.

Trouble is, I've now broken my site by trying to override the pagelayout.tpl template file...

Can you help?
