Hello,

I know there are many threads about this Access Denied Problem, but I tried several solutions and they did not work.

My Problem:

I would like to have my user site running, so that any user, anonymous so to speak, have access to almost all content modules, expect one which is reserved for members.

I set the variable RequireUserLogin to false in /settings/site.ini, also in setting/siteaccess/user/site.ini.append. and even in .../siteaccess/demo , .../siteaccess/sdk.

The Problem is, when I reload my user page, all content modules return: "Access Denied. You don't have permission to access this area." Except one, which is the Login Page. When I login, everthing works fine though.

I even realized, when i set RequireUserLogin to false in /settings/siteaccess/admin/site.ini.append I got the same error message in the admin pages.

It seems, as if all modules are only available for logged in persons.

I also changed the roles so that all users have unlimited access to all modules, like administrators.

But, unfortunaetly not successful.

I work on Mac OS X 10.2.6 with Apache, Mysql, PHP installed and running.
I use ezPublish 3.02.

The solution maybe trivial, but as the Germans say:

I don't see the forest, because of the plentitude of trees.!!!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Try to set RequireUserLogin=false in your settings\override\site.ini.append.php

Thanks Bjoern for the reply.

Acutally there was no variable "RequireUserLogin" in the /settings/override/site.ini.append.php. I included it, set it to false, but got the same failure.

Is there a possibility to define a default user whenever the site is accessed. So I can set this user as anonymous and adapt his role.

But as I think about it, this wouldn't help. ezPublish would recognize him as a user and registering another person via the user site would be impossible.

Should I reinstall ezPublish...??

Any soon help is appreciated, because my work is lying down now.

Thank You

Make sure that the anonymous user has the permission

user login *

Have you tried turning debugging on?

I have the same problems when I setup Intranet. Did you figure out if you do help me out by posting at siteaccesssettings section.
