[URGENT] How to use .htaccess to override memory-limit???

Hi,

I cannot install it. The process goes correctly 'til the end but then it goes back to setup beginning.
I'm virtaul hosted. ISP won't change globaly php memory-limit = 8 MB.

Is there a way to circunvent it?

Try adding this to your .htaccess file.

php_value memory_limit "16M"

If nothing else, a quick search via Google provides a lot of returns: http://www.google.com/search?num=30&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=change+php+memory+limit+.htaccess&btnG=Google+Search

One note, you may want to check the agreement you have with yourprovider to ensure you aren't about to violate their usage guidelines by taking more memory than you are alotted.
