Hi I really like this program but it is so slow to load. I asked the people who run my server if i could install an accelerator but hehe is there responce and it takes to long to add links sometimes up to five minutes each link i add.
php-accelerator

php acceleration is not a fix for poor coding. If the developers are telling you this they need to optimize their code pure and simple. They are passing the buck. As far as how we can accelerate it... we cant. We use any and all stable and accepted optimizers that do not implement caching. We run all kinds of boards here from BB's, to SMF's, to Vbulletin and no one has issues. I guess the next question is, what exactly are you trying to do? Being very specific. I will do what i can to help out but i'm not sure there is much more we can do at this point.

Thanks.

hehe

250000 lines of code ... maybe largest php application in the world

I can tell you ... when I bugfix I usually fix bugs like

while ( true )
{
    // Next line introduces performance bugs fix
    break;
}

LOL

Consider having a dedicated maschine...
