We're going to buy a webserver dedicated for running an eZ Publish intranet. I've checked out which hardware configuration this site is running on as a referrence. Read more here :

In short; what's an optimal server hardware-configuration for a eZ Publish intrawebserver serving roughly 1000 users?
For my server I was thinking of an dual CPU-setup with AMD Athlon(tm) MP 2400+, 2Ghz with 2 GB RAM and a SCSI harddrive. But I'm not sure which brand of motherboard to choose, or if this setup will be overkill given the requirements..
RAM: 2Gb RAM Good suggestions?
