Hello
I've moved an install of ezpublish 3.5.0 from one server to another. I got everything working and displaying properly, except that if I edit existing content, after hitting the publish button, I don't see my changes in either the admin preview, or on the user side. If I add new content, such as a folder, it will show up on the user side, and in the admin, it will be listed under the main content structure in the left column, but in the center of the admin page, it won't show up as a sub-item.
Also the time it takes after you press a button to save a change, takes, from 30-60 seconds, and it seems to be taking longer, as I continue to work with it.
The original server that I was on, ran mysql 3.23.58, and the new server that I've moved to is running mysql 4.0.24 standard, which may or may not have something to do with it.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Greg

Have you checked if the apache process can write on the log folder ?

Have you tried to clear the cache ?

I have cleared the cache multiple times, through the admin interface and manually, but I haven't looked at whether apache can write to the log file. How would I do that? Which files need to be written to and what should they be chmodded to?

Thanks

the var/cache file is usualy under you ez install folder. That can be defined in your site.override too.

I chown -R var to www-data. If you can't chmod it so the apache process can write in it.

Set the debug mode, it should notify it if it can't write on the cache folder.

Xavier
Thanks much. I changed owner and re-ran modfix.sh a few times, and that took care of it.
