Linux
Apache 1.3.33 (Unix)
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 4.0.22-standard
No root/shell access

I had installed EZ Publish 3.4.4 using a lower version of both PHP (I believe it was 4.3.4) and MySQL, using the wizard. It installed correctly.

When 3.5.0 was released, I attempted to upgrade. I had problems so I decided to re-use the install script. When I ran the install script, it reported major problems:

Missing database handler
Missing Session Extension

It also seems to be unable to find the image details GD/ImageMagick

I then noticed that my webhost had upgraded the server to those above. I contacted the webhost who maintains that there is nothing the matter with the PHP compilation etc and maintains the problem is with the install script.

This has been going on since before Xmas and I have tried to look through the forums etc for any help.

Please can you advise me about this - as I said, EZ Publish had installed perfectly well via the wizard/install script on a lower version of PHP/MySQL. Since the upgrade to the server, the script is showing errors and the webhost maintains the "fault" is with the install script.

What information can I give to my webhost?

many thanks in advance.
