Hello,

I'm looking for a way to allow my users to have profile pages where I as administrator can put some predefined information. I want to enable them to add articles... It should look like a folder structure, so when he creates new article, it shows in the left menu (flat_left or what it's called). So he gets a nice first page that he must have, and if he wants he can add some other content, but it would appear in menu. How can I do this? - I see it as a popular subject but no one seems to give a usable answer. Can someone please help me with this, I'm going nuts...

HI Ivan,

One preliminary question : is every user assigned a dedicated subtree where he can push his own content ?

Second thought : why not building off the dashboard concept (cf new administration interface) ?

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for reply
new administration interface? - simple, because I don't know how to do this, and I'm looking for an simplest way.
To answer your question, I'm not so good with ezPublish so I'm not sure what are you exactly referring to. But the simplest way to put this is to say, how can I enable a user to add article to his own user profile page?

Hi Ivan,

I see. Well, first question then, are we talking of frontend or backend ?

Then, what would you base this small addition on ? eZ Website Interface, eZ Flow, other ?

Cheers !
