Both directories are only x, r and w by Owner and Group. Public has no rights.

I have tried to use unlink, chmod and rmdir though PHP code but without luck.

Any help on how to delete these %&#! directories is MUCH appreciated.

Also, why the heck does the system change the rights to these directories making them "impossible" to delete (and read)?!

/Frustrated

These files are created by the code and as such are (typically) created by the user running the code. In this case they would be the user the web server is running as.

You should be able to remove these files with php code, but I take it that you have tried this. Are there any errors being generated by the php code?
