This is very confusing to me.

When I read about suggested tweakings on this board (and elsewhere) I get mixed signals. Occassionally it is the:

filename.ini

that should be tweaked and on other occassions it is:

filename.ini.php

So my question is: What is the difference between .ini and .ini.php files. As an example, I have two image files:

image.ini, image.ini.php

Which one do I edit with regards to imagemagic path?

Same with site.ini and site.ini.php, which one do I tweak?

Regards,
Mikael L

My current understanding is, that if an *.ini.php exists, it is used instead of the *.ini file. I think they are created when using the installer and if a non-virtual host setup is detected (for security reasons), but I am not sure.

To answer your questions, you should tweak the *.ini.php.
