Cannot login after installation!

Igor Paffen	Wednesday 07 July 2004 7:25:32 am I installed the software on my webserver. Everything seems OK, but when I want to login to the user or admin interface, this isn't possible. I use the login name and password as entered during the installation process. I also tried to sign up. The system says I succesfully subscribed. But the just entered name and password don't work. Another problem: The paper 'Building an eZ publish site' tells me after installation there should be a two subdirectories in the directory settings/siteaccess/: plain and plain_admin. But not at my site. What's the problem you think?

Igor Paffen	Wednesday 07 July 2004 1:47:30 pm No, the problem stays. I get the message 'A valid username and password is required to login'. I also saw that the the folders /settings/siteaccess/demo and /settings/siteaccess/user have not been created. Is that a problem? Is there a possibility to go back to the installation proces?
Stuart DH	Wednesday 07 July 2004 2:36:02 pm All of the changes need to be made at the finetune of the installation, changing the CHMOD after the install won't work. Instead, you should really start again from the beginning with a fresh setup and make the CHMOD changes before you install. http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk
