i apologize if this is not the right forums to ask for this but i am currently having problems using ezpdf?

i tried the actual code in the manual but the display in the manual is different from the actual output when the script is run in php. line spacing is not followed and when strings are appended or inserted with (\n) or newline character it makes the test overlap each other instead of chopping them into two separate lines. there are also other cases when the newline character is just converted into a square output in the text and still no newline was applied in the text.

i really need help with this because i cannot find a decent documentation about the problem

thanks in advance.

Hi Alvin,
using the pdf interface is a bit tricky,
take a look at the documentation under
http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_8/reference/template_pdf_functions
Here are all function listed. Remember that the text function has a align attribute.
Always use the pdf view gui to display attributes or you will need to seperate each line with a {pdf( 'new_line' )}

There is also a xml bug which you will need to fix if you are using secial characters.

Take a look at the bus reports for the patch instructions:
http://ez.no/community/bugs/pdf_content_pdf_problem_with_utf_8_and_or_german_umlauts

Hope this helps.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Best regards
