Where are the instructions to change themes in v3.9

W Page	Sunday 07 January 2007 7:37:41 am Hello! I had stopped using ezPublish because I has so many "PHP-CGI" problems in the past. However, in this most recent installation the themes have been removed. I cannot figure out from the admin interface or from reading what I found on the ez.no web site easy intructins as to how to upload a new theme package and then get it to display on the site. Are there any good tutorials as to how to do this? If so, will someone please take a moment and post the location. :) Thanks in advance. WP1

[EmbedViewModeSettings] AvailableViewModes[]=embed AvailableViewModes[]=embed-inline InlineViewModes[]=embed-inline [SiteAccessRules] [DebugSettings] DebugOutput=disabled DebugRedirection=disabled (2) I installed the intranet site template package - intranet_site.ezpkg I followed the following path ----- Login to ezPublish Admin Panel ----- Click on "Settings" button in top admin menu bar. ----- Click on "Packages" link in the left column menu. ----- Click on the "Import new package" button. ----- Located the file on the computer using the "Browse" button. ----- Uploaed the theme package by clicking on the "Import Package" button. ----- Once you are ready click on the Import Package button. ----- A Theme information page loaded. ----- Click on the "Design" button in the top admin menu bar. ----- Click on the "Look and Feel" link in the left column menu. ----- I then get a page regarding languages. After I click "Edit" to continue, I get another page. ----- Scrolled down the page and located the "Sitestyle" area. PROBLEM No other theme than the "eZ Publish standard design" is listed. What am I doing wrong. WP1

Hello!

I had stopped using ezPublish because I has so many "PHP-CGI" problems in the past.

However, in this most recent installation the themes have been removed.

I cannot figure out from the admin interface or from reading what I found on the ez.no web site easy intructins as to how to upload a new theme package and then get it to display on the site.

Are there any good tutorials as to how to do this? If so, will someone please take a moment and post the location. :)

Hello!

I did more checking but I still cannot figure out how to change the site template.

This is what I did so far:

(1) Changed the following in the "site.ini.append.php" file.

[EmbedViewModeSettings]
AvailableViewModes[]=embed
AvailableViewModes[]=embed-inline
InlineViewModes[]=embed-inline

[SiteAccessRules]
Rules[]
Rules[]=access;disable
Rules[]=module;class/edit
Rules[]=module;class/groupedit
Rules[]=module;class/copy
Rules[]=module;class/down
Rules[]=module;class/up
Rules[]=module;class/removeclass
Rules[]=module;class/removegroup

[DebugSettings]

DebugRedirection=disabled

Now it looks like this.

(2) I installed the intranet site template package - intranet_site.ezpkg
I followed the following path
----- Login to ezPublish Admin Panel
----- Click on "Settings" button in top admin menu bar.
----- Click on "Packages" link in the left column menu.
----- Click on the "Import new package" button.
----- Located the file on the computer using the "Browse" button.
----- Uploaed the theme package by clicking on the "Import Package" button.
----- Once you are ready click on the Import Package button.
----- A Theme information page loaded.
----- Click on the "Design" button in the top admin menu bar.
----- Click on the "Look and Feel" link in the left column menu.
----- I then get a page regarding languages. After I click "Edit" to continue, I get another page.
----- Scrolled down the page and located the "Sitestyle" area.

PROBLEM
No other theme than the "eZ Publish standard design" is listed.

What am I doing wrong.
