Unknown template variable 'node' in namespace ''

Claus Jensen	Tuesday 27 January 2004 12:28:45 am Hello, I get this: "Error: eZTemplate @ design/panda/templates/page_mainarea.tpl:8[0] Jan 26 2004 16:42:00 Unknown template variable 'node' in namespace '' Error: eZTemplate @ design/panda/templates/page_mainarea.tpl:8[0] Jan 26 2004 16:42:00" when I have added some template code in page_mainarea.tpl. Isn't it possible to use other variables and the $node variable in this template? Added: Also think this goes for pagelayout.tpl. I think it very strange because it just another template, is it not? regards, claÜs

when I have added some template code in page_mainarea.tpl. Isn't it possible to use other variables and the $node variable in this template?

Is this while you're editing a new object by any chance? I've found that $node is unaccessible in all templates whilst you're doing this. It should be available at other times though.
