Hello.

Im totally new to EZ publish.

I have a design made up for my clients site & I need to know if this software can meet my requirements.

The online store needs a Top menu section below the main header.

login section & search facillity on the left.

Instead of having the products within the center of the site we need them to be split into categories on the right hand side (about 13 categories).

is this posible using ex publish?

thanks for your help

A very steep learning curve when it comes to design. And poor documentation.

Is it similar to joomla's CMS?

thanks for your help on this matter :-)

I suggest to take a while and complete this tutorial. It will help you understand concepts behind eZ Publish and explain how to make a custom design and work with templates:

A very steep learning curve when it comes to design. And poor documentation.

I think this was something you have been looking for too...

Thanks for all your help.

I have now been given the site and found out that it is already using ez publish. Phew.

The only problem is that the products are in the centre of the site.

They are currently in rows of 4, on 2 pages and have pictures below them

I have deleted the images from each of the product categories but i now need them in a vertical list on the right.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this.

To extend on what ive just said.

The main categories are in the main section and when i click on one of them the products open up in the main section (middle of the site).

I need the categories on the right of the site and when i click on them i need the products to then appear in the middle of the site.
