I managed to generate a link to a pdf file stored in the media library but when I try to click on the link I get asked to login.
The link is
/content/download/161/789/file/annual_report_1428.pdf
Do I have to add more privileges to the anonymous users?

Do they have the content / download policy?

content/download??
could not find it. There are content / read, pdf, bookmark, move, create, ... but no download.
Am I missing something?

Nope, I think I need a break :-D
Does the anonymous user have read rights on the node in the media section? Can he access the node itself?
