Hi,

I dowloaded ezPublish4.2. I unzipped it in my /htdoc.

I checked ignore Test for "mbstring" and "locale setting" stuff.

I run http://localhost/ez42/ on my browser, and used wizard till step "Site Pacakge".

Problem is that nothing happen when I click on "Next" button. I tried to load every possible package found on Internet, but nothing happen when I load any.

System is WindowsXP + Apache2.2 + PHP 5.2.6

Hi,

Exactly what "local stuff" settings were reported as not meeting the system requirements for eZ? Most of them are really required for eZ Publish to run properly. To check the requirements see http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_x/installation/normal_installation/requirements_for_doing_a_normal_installation

I changed "date.timezone" in "php.ini".

I still have message about "mbstring" missing. It's not listed among the extensions required for installing ezPublish. So, I checked "Ignore this test".

When I'm at 50% of normal install process : page "Site package", I try to load .ezpkg files. But nothign happen at all and I can't go any further.

I installed domxml extension, but got this message :

<strong>Fatal error</strong>: eZ Publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

Hi,

If you check the requirements documentation page mbstring is refered to as "Multibyte string functions" and it is a requirement. I would first fix that, then continue and see what errors are left.
