I just updated a standard webin site from version 4.2.0 to version 4.3.0, but encountered some issues:

- In the Webshop, Design and Setup sections of the administrative interface (admin) I have no sidebars

- The online editor is not showing up anymore

- I tried switching to the new admin2 interface, but it does not load any stylesheet. Also there I can't see any sidebars.

How can I solve this?

I tried switching to the new admin2 interface, but it does not load any stylesheet

Took me a while to find out but eventually I did... Turns out the ezjscore extension wasn't loaded. Just turn it on (while using admin design) and then switch to admin2 design and that's it!

Hi,

I have the same problems as author of the topic does.

I cannot see the admin2 design. It loads with no styles. Unfortunatelly, the idea with switching on the ejscore did not help (it was already loaded in my case). So I hope somebody else will come with some other solutions.

Online Editor also does not show up. In previous versions this problem could be solved easily by changing DevelopmentMode from disabled to enabled in editor extension ini file. There is no such line in the present version :( So I would also appreciate some ideas.

Furthermore, I have two other problems:

  • button "select all" in objects lists in admin (back-end) interface does not work,
  • ezmultiupload does not work - button "select files" seems to be dead - nothing happens when clicked.

I hope there is somebody who may at least advice where to search for the reasons of those problems.

Thanks,
Maciej

No :(

To be more precise: I did not notice any. Do I have to look somewhere for it?

I'd recommend to take a look at your browser's javascript console. If using firefox, and if not already installed, you can add this extension : http://getfirebug.com/. Will help you troubleshoot javascript errors, as well as Ajax requests and many other things we may need to investigate in your case.

Cheers,

Nicolas,

thanks for advice. I run firebug and it says:

In case of button "select all": ezjs_toggleCheckboxes is not defined

In case of ezmultiupload:
YUI is not defined
[Break on this error] YUI(YUI3_config).use('node', 'event', function(Y) {

Thanks, that did the trick! Although I had to activate the extension in the settings files, as the admin interface wasn't working properly as well.

Hi Maciej,

Which browser does this happen with ?

And in the "Net" tab of firebug, "JS" subtab, do you see any 404 error when hard-refreshing the full page (CTRL-Shift-R in Fireforx for instance).

Cheers,
