First let me say, I have high hopes for this product. As I read the postings, I find out I'm not alone.

I've read that the ini files cannot be changed, Is it the configuration ini files can be changed and the default ini files cannot be changed?
If the ini configuration file can be changed, how aggressive can they be changed?
Also, I need to brand the site with my logo and copyright, can you tell me what file should I be looking for.

Another issue regarding folder. The application was installed without me seeing the process as indicated in the setup guide. So I missed out on the process. I was given a login admin to a news folder. Now I need to change the news folder to somthing else. Not sure how to do this. Its been three days looking and reading this and I'm pretty much stuck in the same place where I begin.

Recapping:
Making the changes in ini
Where to add my company logo/copyright and begin with main page, articles and other.
Changing the News folder the another name. How do i get to that place to change it.
Getting unstuck.

Thanks

Theodore

To change the layout and add your company's logo and copyright you just need to create a site design (templates).

There is a series on turorials on how to do that here:
http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/customization/custom_design

With regards to the INI files, you certainly can edit them, although you should only need to edit the site.ini and overrride.ini files, as this is where all the basic site information is stored. There is a tutorial on this here:
http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/configuration/configuration/configuration_files

However, in order for you site to keep all your changed when you upgrade to a newer version of ezpublish it is recommended that you create a siteaccess, on which you can find out more information here:

http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/configuration/configuration/site_access

I hope that points you in the right direction ;)

Basically, if you are new to ezpublish, I would certainly recommend reading through the documentation (which has improved greatly over the last few months), and can be found here:
