Getting Internal Server Error With EZ 4.1.2

I decided to test this out on a test server, virtual hosting and it gives me the internal server error every time. I've emptied tables, dropped tables, edited and added a new config.php file. Still I get the same error every time:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@#######.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've ch modded the domain to 755 to try to fix a previous 404 error and wonder if that could be causing the problem. I also notice that two tables seem to be missing ( I see 114 in the my 4.1.1 version of EZ publish and only 112 in 4.1.2)

Anyone out there offer and guidance?

Thanks in advance

Cori

Do you have current ezc installed and working? If not, try bundled one.

What do ez error logs and most importantly, php error log say? If php error log is not on, turn logging to file on in php.ini. This should reveal what is going wrong.

If everything else fails, come ask help from nice folks on IRC.
