Hello everyone,
After an update to 3.8.4 to 4.0.1 through 3.9.0 and 3.10.1, I encounter the following problem:
En I create new content, url_alias are not nicely created : /parent_node/13 instead of /parent_node/new_node_url_alias. Both in admin and public siteaccess.
The older nodes created before the update loses their url_alias after editing them, and becomes inaccessible ! => /parent_node/old_node_created_in_384 is transformed to /parent_node !
Someone had an idea of where it may come?

Hi Sébastien,
It is recommended to use The "latest stable release" approach (http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/upgrading/how_to_proceed) That means best approach to upgrade in your case would be :Upgrade from eZ Publish version 3.8.4 -> 3.9.5->3.10.1->4.0.5
About urlalias issue provide some more info here.
