We need to move a couple of existing eZ publish installations to a new server, but we are running into a problem with the first site we are moving. The installation is version 3.4, and it is running on FreeBSD. I'm not sure if there are changes in the server software versions between the old machine and the new one, as I am waiting for a response from the sysadmin to that question. When I try to hit the installation on the new server I receive the following error message:
-----------------------------------
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_module_name() in /usr/local/www/cuttingedge.data/ez_upgraded/lib/ezutils/classes/ezsession.php on line 162
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish it's request

The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.
-----------------------------------

I turned on debugging, but no additional information was included, so I'm at a loss as to what the problem may be. I would truly appreciate any help the community can provide.

<b>[UPDATE]</b>
The sysadmin has provided the following information:

<b>old server</b> -> <b>new server</b>
MySQL 3.2 -> MySQL 4.1
PHP 4.3.6 -> PHP 4.3.9
