Hi,

I've downloaded ez 3.0.2 and the win98 installer so that I can run it locally inorder to have a play around.

Everything seemed to go ok, however its very slow at loading pages and when I try to access the admin I keep getting the following error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\program files\ez systems\ezpublish\lib\eztemplate\classes\eztemplateelementparser.php on line 437

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\program files\ez systems\ezpublish\lib\ezutils\classes\ezexecution.php on line 157

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\program files\ez systems\ezpublish\lib\ezutils\classes\ezsession.php on line 73

Warning: Unknown(): A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in Unknown on line 0

I read someware about the acleorator but can not seem to find it again, any suggestions?

Thanks simy

We are aware of some performance problems on Windows 98, especially because of apache 1.3 which is known to be slow under windows.

Do you get this on every page load? Even if you reload a page?

The accelerator we use for the Linux/FreeBSD installers is not available on windows, but we are considering to bundle mmcache (http://www.turcksoft.com/en/e_mmc.htm) with the windows installers.

Hi,

I've the same problem (same error msg). win2k, apache 1.3x, php 4.3.1, mysql 4.12.

Maybe it's a php-bug, I've found this site with google:

Kind regards,
Georg.
