the download of pdf-files or other files is not allowed for users not logged in. i tried to extend the role-settings for the anonymous user but is doesn´t work.
what role-settings do i have to add in oder to allow the download?

the role settings are:

user login Keine Einschränkungen
content read Section( Standard )
content pdf Section( Standard )
rss read Keine Einschränkungen
content read Class( File , Image ) , Section( Media )
content read Subtree( Files ) , Class( File ) , Section( Media )

thanks

Does anonymous users get a Error kernel 1 or other error number ?
Does it work for logged in users ?
What section/subtree/class are the objects which anonymous users can't download ?

hi,

in the meantime we changed the link ({$media.data_map.file.content.filepath|ezroot}). today i tried to change the code back to

concat("content/download/",$media.data_map.file.contentobject_id,"/",$me.file.id,"/file/",$media.data_map.file.content.original_filename|urlencode)

today it works! i don´t know why. it seems to be a sideeffect that it the reason for that.
thats why i can´t give you a feedback concerning the errornumber.

we tried to download from section media / class file, subtree "media/files/service/faq".

best regards
frank
