OE : create direct link to a file

Montel Sébastien	Saturday 14 October 2006 3:07:25 am Hi, one question about OE : is it a method to add directly the link to a ressource (a file to download), or is it a necessary method to copy the url like http://mysite/content/download/path_to_file (obtain by edit the File object) and paste it in a new link created in OE ? If we create a link to an object type file, when we click on this link, we view the full view of this object. Thanks, Sébastien

We have to think of a way to make this functionality better, and improve the GUI. Any suggestions on how to do this? The way it works now, it's too much work to create a direct link to uploaded files. Per-Espen
