Hello!!

I have created a class in ezpublish that when I create a new object of this class the name doesn't appear.

I have attached a capture to show you what I see

http://subefotos.com/ver/?fff981dd49b319674c3aaf934233acdao.png

My class has an attribute called "Nombre" for the title. I suppose I have to tell ezpublish that this is the name it should use for the title but I don't know how to do it.

any ideas ???

Hola Alejandro.

You need to edit the class again and fill the 'PatrĂ³n de nombre de objeto:' field. That field should have the attribute you want for the object name. so, if your attribute is called 'title', you can just type <title> in that field.

Then you will need to republish your contents. for the new ones, name will be shown as expected.

It's better explained at http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Concepts-and-basics/Content-management/The-content-class

Cheers.

Hello,

I would add that the same principle applies to the url alias.
And to update the names and url aliases, in the event of a change in the class, you can use the following two scripts:

  • bin/php/updateniceurls.php => for url
  • update/common/scripts/updatecontentobjectname.php => for names
