I've taken the leap and decided to start using eZ Publish, and I want to thank the authors and contributors for making eZ Publish such a professional, useful, and quite simply beautiful system. I looked at dozens of other CMS and what was missing in all of them was visual design. But every eZ Publish site I've seen has its own unique design, and this is what makes it a winner for me. Since superficials aren't everything, I also appreciate the object model. As I learn more, I'm sure I'll appreciate sections, roles, and workflows. So thank you!

My first eZ Publish site took literally 1 week to set up: www.palestinefilmfest.com. There's no custom design yet, but the fact that I could get it up and running on my own (with the help of that new book) convinced me to use it for every future project, no matter how small that project might appear to be.

Thank you for a magnificent piece of software.

Hi Benjamin,
it's nice to see, that some people are able to say "Thank you" :)
Usually, forum posts just deal about problems, so it's great to read some "sucess story".

You have created a nice site, by the way!

What's so funny is that this is just the "plain" design with one of the various "look and feel" settings to give it some color. Someone out there put some effort into making eZ Publish sites look good from the very beginning. I remember back in the early eZ Publish version 3 days when the "plain" design was the only one available and it looked like the administrative interface but worse... a real downer.

But if you're talking about the site's content, thank you! If you're Norwegian, I recently visited Oslo and Bergen for the first time and know how most Norwegians (and if you're not Norwegian, I think this applies to most people in the rest of the world) understand the importance of human rights and justice... our film festival is just one small way we can get our message out in the very restrictive environment of the U.S.A.
