I cannot find any information about how publish_date attribute in article class is supposed to work. Its not mentioned in docs and neither appears it to be used anywhere in code or templates. Can anyone enlighten me?

Add a Workflow with event "Event/Wait until date" and attach it in "content publish before" Trigger. Should be there in default install though, only workflow.php cronjob that needs to be activated.

+10 for better "whats next" documentation on what to do after install though.

Ok, i have read hints that ezcore (http://projects.ez.no/ezcore) has more usable functionality for publishing and unpublishing by hiding/unhiding and that workflow based one is really cumbersome. There is problem tho as i have 3.9 site. Perhaps it works for it, have to test.
