Still miss the possibility to have multiple items of the same dataype like the authors field, especially for:
- related objects (so you can have multiple categories of related objects) - binary file (multiple attachments)- images (multiple images)
In fact I would love to see this for most datatypes.

This is actually already scheduled, implementation will start this friday. We're starting the implementation of a datatype which handles this. I.e. inline editing of n related objects ( e.g. images ).
It will not be part of 3.1, but we will release it as a contribution as soon as it's done. It will be in 3.2.

I hope you will also provide some example templates in which it is possible to limit the types of related objects ("only files") for this new datatype. Or make it an integral part of the new multiple entry "related object" datatype. We cannot rely on roles for this unless the role system is extended to attributes of objects.
