hello,
when i login to the admin siteaccess of my newsletter installation i can see a lot of folders with newsletter_articles in my Newsletter/Articles folder. when i create a new newsletter on the eznewsletter_editor siteaccess and try to add some of these letters to my newsletter through the add object button, i cannot see them, the articles folder is empty. why is that? thanks for help!

Hi Andre,

have you clicked on the "Create newsletter"-Button in the Newslettertype? Then you should have shown a new object that has an relation list attribute where you can add the objects as a relation.
Can you please say give me the url where you clicked on "add object"?

Cheers
Tobias

dear tobias, thanks for your reply.
my problem starts even earlier..i don't understand why the democontent is visible when i log in to the admin siteaccess of the site and when i log in to the newsletter_editor access there's no democontent. obviously there's no democontent there to link to when creating a newsletter thereafter..

my second problem, sorry to spam you..
may i do something i shouldn't: changing topic in a thread.. but i just noticed that i have my old 'stealing mutex' problem again. so all other problems lose importance.. after my first install of the newsletter i got:
"Error initializing script: database error: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)."
extensions had 777 permission owner and group was webserver
i then changed the permissions of all my extensions to the user i run my sites under and the my 'stealing mutex' problem appears. i run the runcronjobs command under the root user. and as i'm on plesk server, i'm sure there are other cronjobs running. is there any way to disable the preventing of running more than one cronjobs at once..?

Ok lets solve one problem at a time :).
Do you log in to the newsletter_editor with a different user?
Have you cleared the cache? (Just to be sure that there are no things left from failed installations)
Can you please check the NodeID in the admin and in the newsletter_editor interface? Is it the same?

Cheers

:)
i log in with the same user.
index.php/newsletter_editor/content/view/full/60 is the path in newsletter_editor access
index.php/f451_admin/newsletter/articles in f451_admin access..
cache is cleared

Can you activate debug and tell me which templates it tries to include?
Are there any error messages in debug as well?

ok, there's this: in the newsletter/articles folder i don't get any subfolders in the maincontent. but in the sidemenu i have them and can get to their contents. maybe thats the way it is and i didn't know. the same happens when linking newsletter-articles to a newsletter edition: in the main content the folder are missing, but i can access them through the side menu. for now thats ok for me.

the 'stealing mutex' errors i got are still there but commenting out all mutex related stuff in runcronjobs.php lets me send the newsletters..
