Workflow after publish

Hi!

I want to create a workflow, in after_publish trigger:

1. Do some actions.
2. Show a template.
3. Do some actions.
4. Redirect.

but edit.php ignore (EZ_WORKFLOW_TYPE_STATUS_REDIRECT and EZ_WORKFLOW_TYPE_STATUS_TEMPLATE) workflow status.
The script view.php controle this status.
There is some reason for which view.php it has it in bill and edit.php not?
There is some way of doing what I want in the trigger after_publish?
