Modify attribute definition in ezworkflow_event ?

Hi,

I use gwutils extension in my project. This extension store a list of id in data_text1 to data_text4 fields of ezworkflow_event table.
The problem is that these fields are varchar(50). So I loose some data if one of my Id's list is more longuer than 50.
Could have some bad repercussion if I increase the calue of these fields in varchar(255) ?
