Could we also filter bugs by version reported? A combo box could list all available choices (catches spelling errors etc).

I agree, bug reports should also contain more information aboit php evrsion, webserver, database, etc.
We don't have the time to do it now, but hopefully later.

Extensions will always take time but in this case it should be a quick addition. You already sort by most of the fields present in existing bug reports. The version field is already present and so shouldn't take much time.
