Webdav:Copying files with same name but different extension

Hi all,
I'm trying to copy a large amount of files in one shot from my local machine to the website.
So I tried the webdav feature and there is one big problem : the webdav saves all the files with the same extension - "bin".
So for example if I have in one directory the following files : example.php and example.exe only the first is saved as example.bin .........
Is there any solution for this?
Please help me,

Thanks for help.
Is it going to be solved in the next version? Do you know if there is any workaround?
I just compressed the problematic files into one file but it's not a permanent solution.
