I feel bad loading up the contribution comments with these questions so I'm moving it to this forum. I am trying to get the Agenda contribution

working but am having no luck reading variables from the url.
The url is:
http://www.mysite.com/index.php/en/content/view/full/47/day/18/month/5/year/2004 and I would like to extract the date information from it. Here is the code which I am currently using:

Events scheduled for: {$temp_ts}

The temp_ts variable never has a value. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance.
