hi, our team wants people to upload picture, but is facing an issue when people upload disproportionate size pictures. person 1 may have a really wide pic, person 2 has really tall pic. but to make page look uniform, how to resize?

options?
(1) use the style sheet to resize the image, regardless of original size. disadvantages: can distort images, doesn't allow for differently shaped images, and if the image is very large, users still have to download a large file.

(2) have EZ reject all graphic files over a certain number of bytes, assuming that large graphics are large file sizes. disadvantages: probably unreliable in terms of filtering. advantages: very easy to impliment. but this still doesnt solve the ratio issue.

(3) have EZ somehow determine the dimensions of an incoming graphic file, and if it's over certain dimensions, reject it. advantages: this would put the onus on the person uploading.

(4) have EZ or some other software automatically crop/resize images as they come in. advantages: this would insure proper file-size and graphic size.

any ideas from EZ community?

thanks

This is easy and efficient with EZ, read this link:
