How do you guys/gals designs sites for eZ P? I mean when I am done designing my site locally how can I upload it to the webserver.

Yes, I can ftp the php, ini, tpl, etc files but how about the database?

Or, you guys/gals do everything right on the server?

What do you really do?

Thank you?

I do the site development on the server setting up the classes, user groups, permissions, etc...

I do the pagelayout.tpl and .css design locally and then upload it via FTP or CPanel's File manager, but I do the override templates on the server too.

Can't I do the override locally through *.ini files?

You certainly can, it's just my server is more powerful than my laptop so I find it better to develop sites on ;)

But how about if the pre-existing site is up and running. It might be diffecult to install ezp and develop classes, roles, etc. The old site will not work and the customers will notice that the site is not working. God knows for how long.

Thank you,
