Hi,
I'm trying to put a swf file in the top page billboard, but it doesn't show on the frontend. Looking at the code, the file seems embedded right,

Aucun FlashPlayer disponible !

but nothing appears on the page. If I insert swf file in the center column position, for exemple, everything is OK. I tried to put the file in Media > Multimedia and in Media > Banners, nothing changes.
Any idea ?

What version are you on? there was some issue with flash 10 some time ago, so if you can't see the flash anywhere, and your on a old (pre 4.0.2) version, then update.

Hi André,
I'm using version 4.1.3.
I can see the flash when I'm embedding it in an article, but I can't see it when it's embedded as a billboard.
One thing I can't explain is that the code of the flash in billboard appears when I'm looking for page source but not in the page itself. I tried with several browsers to prevent a "adblock like" problem. Same every time.

Try replacing the content of billboard/flash.tpl with the content from embed/flash.tpl
(Backup the file you change first)

Base folder: <eZ Publish root>/extension/ezwebin/design/ezwebin/override/templates/

Thank you for the suggestion, but ... it doesn't works. Still can't see the Flash as the code is there.

Hi Catherine,

If I were you I would :

- Check the anonymous policy for content / read
- Check if I could display the "/.../index.swf" url in the browser
- Try to force the "value" and the "movie" params of the embeded object with an absolute url like "http://localhost/ezp/index.swf"
- Check if the flash is really working. Does it have access to necessary data to run (if any) ? You can check that with a soft like firebug
- Try to use swfobject to embed the flash (who knows...)

Hope this helps

Hi André and Jeremy,
Thanks a lot for your answers. Sorry for the inconvenience, but André's solution was the good one. In all my attempts, I uploaded another time the banner and then, width and height loosed their values and became automatically set to 0. I didn't noticed that.
But with the original code of billboard/flash.tpl, no way. I had to replace it with the content of embed/flash.tpl. If not, even with good width and height values, it doesn't show.
Thanks again.
