Siteaccess links and top menu issues

Hello,
I use EZ to manage web service for about two months. I haven't had any experience with this CMS before. I took all my knowledge from documentation and this forum, but there are two issues I cannot get by. I would appreciate if anybody could help.

1. Top menu: I would like to apply a different style to the one of the buttons in a top horizontal menu that is currently selected. It is easy, because this particular <li> has class "current". The problem starts when one of its children is selected. The top level menu position is not "class current" any more. I suppose something in flat_top.tpl needs to be changed.

2. I have different siteaccesses in my webpage (say site1 and site2). I found it was impossible to make a link by eznode feature in site1 to page that is in site2. The resulting link is www.domain.com/index.php?/site1/site2/some_page when the correct link should be www.domain.com/index.php?/site2/some_page. I tried to solve the problem with rewrite rules but whatever I type in .htaccess doesn't work (Rewrite engine is on, because other rules work).

Thank you,
Maciej
