I encountered a problem with roles. This is what I have done (in this order):
- deleted some sections that were used in some roles
- deleted the roles that were used by this sections
- created new section and assigned them to apropriate nodes
- created roles for the new sections (for anonymous user)
When I tried to view the site after that I got an "Access Denied" message. From the debug info I found out that the IDs of the sections that I've deleted were applied in the roles. I cleared the cache, even tried deleting the cache folder, but nothing changed.
Only after I changed the RoleSettings EnableCaching in site.ini to disabled, the new roles were aplied. So is this a bug, or I forgot to do something? It seems to me that the role cache wasn't cleared when I cleared the cache. Is there some special way for clearing the role cache?
