I am using eZ publish version 3.6.0 and designed the site on my local machine with the following configurations.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 2002 with service pack 2
PHP Version 4.3.11
MySql Ver 11.18 Distrib 3.23.58
Apache HTTP Server Version 1.3
ImageMagick 6.1.0

I install eZpublish with the manual process and create a news site. I add several articles with images to the site. Everything is working fine on my machine. I got a copy of the whole site folder and the database. Then I create a copy of this site on another machine which has the same configuration as mine.

When I access the site I couldn’t find images that were attached to the articles. But all the other content is visible. Also I can find the images inside the var directory. I can’t find a way to solve this problem. Please help!

The problem was the path to image magic. In the machine I installed eZPublish had the following settings in the settings/image.ini.append.php file.

<?php /* #?ini charset="iso-8859-1"?

[ImageMagick]
IsEnabled=true
ExecutablePath=C:\WINDOWS
Executable=convertim.exe
*/ ?>

But in the second computer where image manipulation doesn&#8217;t work has no convertim.exe file on the C:\WINDOWS directory. I manually copied the file to the windows directory but it didn&#8217;t work out. Image Magick installation path is C:\ ImageMagick. So I change the settings in settings/image.ini.append.

<?php /* #?ini charset="iso-8859-1"?

[ImageMagick]
IsEnabled=true
ExecutablePath= C:\ ImageMagick
Executable=convert.exe
*/ ?>

It worked.

Note the two files are different in the two locations. In WINDOWS directory it is <b>convertim.exe</b> and in the ImageMagick folder it is <b>convert.exe</b>. I spend nearly 4 days to figure this out.
