Problem with enhanced selection datatype in ez 3.6

Hello, I installed the "Enhanced Selection" datatype. The installation looks ok, however when I create or modify a class, the "enhanced selection" is not listed in the dropdown menu of available datatypes.
I previously installed it with no problem. The only differences this time are:
1) using ez 3.6
2) using the admin interface in the italian language.
Any suggestion?

Hi Giovanni,

Hans (lead developer of this datatype) is in holidays now, as well as the rest of the team here. We'll look at it, but an upgraded site did not show a problem (yet).

Can you turn on debugging, clear all caches and post any relevant enhancedselection messages here?

Paul,
I did what you suggested: turned on debugging, cleared all caches. The debug panel appears but does not show anything interesting. In fact it seems all right. But still, while the "enhanced selection" extension is installed, the datatype is not listed in the dropdown menu menu when you edit a class.

Hi Giovanni,

We haven't experienced that problem on our 3.6 sites, but maybe it is doing weird things somewhere. Have you activated the extension (using the admin interface or editing settings/override/site.ini.append.php)?

Problem solved. It was a trivial issue: the extension/enhancedselection directory had wrong file permissions.
Maybe ez should produce some warning message in these cases?

Thanks anyway :)
