Hi,

I have a class article. And each article has one or more related PDF.
My problem is how can I do this ? And how can I specify where the uploaded file will be stored on the server ?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Nicolem,

1. If you want to publish a file with related pdf's, you can add the pdf as a "file" (there is a content class named "file" that stores all type of files like: pdf, word, ....). And after that, create your article and create an object relation with your pdf file previously created.

2. There is an other way to do so, that is creating a new content class, that has the capacity to store files. To do so on the admin interface, you must go to:
configuration>classes>content>new class
Have a look at the technical manual to see available data types you have. (go to reference/datatypes).

If you have too many articles to publish that have pdf related objects, than you can chose the 2nd option. But if the number of articles you have is too small, Than it would be better to use the 1st one.
