Problem with anonymous users access

Olivier Fortier	Wednesday 05 October 2005 7:13:36 am Hi I was following the tutorial on how to customize templates when I found there is a problem with my site. When assigning a folder to a section, I set the Anonymuos Users to view this section, as it is explained in the tutorial. The thing is that I still have to log in when trying to access this section. So I tried to set the Anonymous Users to view this Subtree, but it's still the same thing. Is there a way just to let Anonymous users view ANY sections at any time? Thank you very much.

So to allow read access, add a rule say content read no restirctions. However if you do that, then you have difficulty if you want to restrict their access to something later on. For the most part, its probably best to create new sections for parts you want to restrict, and allow anonymous users read access to the standard section only. Hope thats of some help Arran
