Problem implementing sections!

Hi there,

I have been looking for a solution to my problem for a few hours now but don't seem to be able to find it (in forums, docs or the book).

Should be simple I think, I want to create a section for my home page so that I can drop some common page elements and replace them with other unique page elements as well as change the layout to some degree.

The problem is when I create my section with the required roles assigned (anonymous roles) etc. I can no longer access the home page, instead I get a login page with an access denied notice.

As far as I can tell I have done everything right according to the docs and EZP Book but no matter what I do it just won’t work.

I have been having a lot of issues with the (way too aggressive) caching and thought this may have been causing the problem but after wasting many hours manually clearing the cache time and time again I think its safe to say cache is not the problem (as it is with template overrides).

I'm using EzP version 3.5

I would very much appreciate any advice that anyone may have as to what may be the problem and thankyou very much in advance for your efforts.

Pardon me while I burst into flames...

I seem to have this working now, it appears there was a conflict in the roles for anonymous users that I somehow have fixed but I'm not really sure what I did...Owell, on to the next problem (there is bound to be another).

Pardon me while I burst into flames...
