Hi folks!

I'm trying to create a class called "clear-right" for the images I embed using the Online Editor.

I have created the following lines in my content.ini.append.php

[object]
AvailableClasses[]=clear-right

I've even tried with

[img]
AvailableClasses[]=clear-right

and

[image]
AvailableClasses[]=clear-right

But the class field option is still just <none>.

Can anyone please help me?

best regards

Hi,

[object]
AvailableClasses[]=clear-right

should work, have you cleared your cache?

Best regards,

Hi Wenyue.

Yup, I have cleared my cache. Both ways. Using the GUI and ./bin/shell/clearcache.sh --clear-all.

But thanks for letting me know the correct syntax. Makes it easier to trouble-shoot.
Anyways I've disabled the editor and inserted my class manually, since this only was needed for one image at the moment. And it is not crucial to the functionality.

Trond,

I have had the same problem and disabled the editor to insert the class. The problem you now have though is if anyone goes in to edit your item with the editor enabled it will delete the class you've added as it doesnt recognise it...

Hi Steve!

Thanks for letting me know. Have you solved this problem? I really can't see what else I should try to get the Online Editor aware of my classes.

Unfortunately no, not yet...

Because it was just for the one situation I've gone for the same quick and dirty fix as yourself...

Duhh.... This is quite embarrassing, but this is how we learn I guess.

The above mentioned lines must be put in the content.ini.append.php that resides in my settings/siteaccess/my_admin/ folder. Then I can use the class field in the online editor. The only question now is that my table.tpl doesn't seem to recognize my classes, as I always get the renderedtable class no matter which class I choose in the online editor. Anyone who can help me with that?

best regards
