Hi...

I'm beginning to learn ezPublish system and use it too.

I need to have one ezPublish system which has many virtual domains with different contents in each of those virtual domains.

What can I do?

Thanks, for all

Hi.

This is a standard feature of eZ publish.

You need to create different siteaccesses for each of those virtual domains. The siteaccess contain all the settings for those virtual domains. Siteaccesses can have different databases (different content) and different design (layout). This means you can have different sites on the same eZ publish installation.

Here are some documentation to get you started:

Thanks Kristian...

I just set many domain in a sigle ezpublish.

But, I really need that each domains have its own content in the same database.

For example:

site1.com only access to folder fold1 and fold2 and...
site2.com only access to folder fold2 and fold3,
so, I could separate the folder content for each domain

Is it possible?

What can I do?

Thank for all

Have you tried using the "PathPrefix" option under [SiteAccessSettings] in site.ini?

That way, by putting your sites in separate folders at the top level of your content hierarchy, the user will not see that several sites are run from the same database.

I'd also assume that you could set the RootNode under [NodeSettings] in content.ini to something other than 2 for each site, but I haven't tested that option yet. You may also need to change the RootNodeID of the [TreeMenu] in contentstructuremenu.ini.

Cheers,
