Hi,

I want to let users use the online editor in frontoffice but I want to hide some tools.
I just want to show them the basic tools for text formatting but not not the advanced options as inserting objects,links,table...

As this toolbar is based on javascript I don't know exactly where I can achieve this.

My main idea is to deal with siteaccess...

Any hint?

Regards.

Hi Laurent,

I think it's not possible without hacking Online Editor :( and that's not easy...
In FCKEditor, you can choose toolbar config, it would be great to have something similar in Online Editor...

Damien,

Sure, hack is never a good option and I don't want neither use FCKeditor.
I'm going to look for simple CSS issue with a display:none; warpped around tools (humm through javascript ???).

Other staring point will be welcome.

Customising the OE based on the user profile. Wow!! I would love that... Good idea.
